Meeting high expectations for a fast-rising, direct selling company
When a growing company begins hosting an international convention, it presents a unique opportunity to bring the brand to life on a world stage.
MONAT, a direct selling company in the haircare industry, launched in 2014. The U.S.-based firm saw rapid growth, and expanded into Canada the following year. While planning the company’s inaugural convention, organizers sought an event design and production firm with a track record of delivering exciting shows for the direct selling industry. They found Solomon Group.
MONATions United 2016 was held at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida. The popular venue challenged Solomon Group’s team with a very tight load in schedule, but our seasoned project managers conquered the long hours with careful pre-production planning. Solomon Group provided MONAT with its full array of event services, including stage design, custom-fabrication, lighting, audio-visual production, graphics printing, and management services. From speaker introductions to product launches, our coordinated team was involved in all aspects of the production.
During the following year MONAT grew their business by nearly 100%, so they came back to Solomon Group for a bigger event. We made sure that, from the moment the associates walked through the door, they were surrounded by the MONAT brand. Held at the Hilton Americas-Houston, MONATions United 2017 included an extra day with keynote speaker, Eric Worre. We utilized a pair of 9mm, 28-ft. wide LED screens on stage to ensure that all slide content was clear for the 1500 attendees. We elevated the awards ceremony by adding a live band, and managed the decor for a “Rock of Ages” themed closing party. Once again, we designed and managed the MONAT Gear store, but this time we added a live, vocal performance for their fashion show, in which several Market partners took the stage.
